Welcome to TypeGenius! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TypeGenius AI-powered keyboard application ("Service"). By installing or using TypeGenius, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using TypeGenius, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TypeGenius.

2. Description of Service

TypeGenius is an AI-powered keyboard application for Android devices that provides:

• Voice-to-text transcription
• AI-powered grammar correction
• Text enhancement (summarization, rephrasing, tone adjustment)
• Genius: an open-ended AI assistant that follows your instructions to generate or transform text (e.g. compose emails, generate quotes, rewrite content). You may optionally select text before activating Genius to provide it as context.
• Translation features
• Multiple keyboard themes
• In-app feedback form to help us improve the Service

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TypeGenius. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Free and Pro Tiers

TypeGenius offers both free and paid subscription tiers:

• Free Tier: Limited daily usage of AI features (voice transcription, grammar correction, rephrasing, tone adjustment, summarization, Genius).
• Pro Tier: Higher daily usage limits for all AI features, available via subscription.

Usage limits reset daily. We reserve the right to modify features and limits at any time.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Google Play. By purchasing a subscription:

• You agree to pay the subscription fees displayed at the time of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through Google Play settings
• Refunds are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy
• We do not store or process your payment information directly

6. License and Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TypeGenius for your personal, non-commercial use.

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits
• Use the Service in any way that could harm TypeGenius or its users

7. AI Features and Limitations

TypeGenius uses artificial intelligence and third-party AI services (including OpenAI) to provide features. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Text and audio you submit for AI processing are sent to our servers and third-party AI providers
• The Genius feature allows you to provide open-ended instructions. Any text you submit, including selected text used as context, is sent to third-party AI providers for processing
• AI-generated content (including Genius responses such as composed emails, generated quotes, and rewritten text) may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete, and should be reviewed before use
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before sending, publishing, or relying on it
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI features
• AI features require an internet connection and may be unavailable at times

8. User Content

When you use TypeGenius:

• You retain all rights to your text and content
• We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy
• We do not store your typed text, voice recordings, or Genius instructions after processing
• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you input
• You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content

9. Feedback

TypeGenius includes an optional in-app feedback form ("Help Us Improve"). When you submit feedback:

• Your feedback responses are stored in our database to help us improve the Service
• You may optionally provide your email address if you would like us to follow up on your feedback
• Basic device information (device name, model, Android version) is included with your submission to help us diagnose issues
• All feedback data, including any associated email address and device information, is automatically deleted from our servers within 90 days
• You may also request earlier deletion at any time by contacting us at aibusinesscollab@gmail.com
• By submitting feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use your feedback to improve the Service

10. Permissions

TypeGenius requires certain permissions to function:

• Microphone: For voice-to-text transcription
• Internet: For AI features and backend communication

You can revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings, though this may limit functionality.

11. Intellectual Property

TypeGenius and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by AI Genius Collab and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without express written permission.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We specifically disclaim:

• Warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Any guarantee of accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service
• Any guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Any guarantee regarding the accuracy of AI-generated content, including Genius responses

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TYPEGENIUS AND ITS DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
• Service interruptions or unavailability
• Any damages arising from your use of the Service

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Third-Party Services

TypeGenius uses third-party services (such as OpenAI and Google Play) to provide features. Your use of these features is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

15. Service Availability

We strive to keep TypeGenius available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance or updates
• Technical issues or server problems
• Third-party service outages
• Circumstances beyond our control

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

16. Termination and Data Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to TypeGenius at any time, with or without cause or notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

You may stop using TypeGenius at any time by uninstalling the application from your device. If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it through Google Play to stop future charges.

Upon termination or uninstallation, all user data stored on our servers (including instance identifiers, usage records, and feedback submissions) is automatically deleted within 90 days.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of TypeGenius after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TypeGenius regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
